Your quiet gardener

Gardening is a process that has endless approaches. Let me tell you about my way.

I am passionate about sustainability, which translates very happily into gardening. When it comes to garden maintenance, I have chosen to use hand tools and electric tools – no 2-stroke engines in my arsenal! I am an organic gardener, so I have chosen to focus on plant and soil health, rather than using pesticides. When designing a new garden, I like to include flowers and berries that attract birds and bees. I also love to include some native species and drought tolerant plants. Our gardens can be safe havens to promote biodiversity.

A healthy garden should have a balance of plants, insects and birds. If we plan deliberately, taking care of plant and soil health, we can maintain this balance and make our gardens into beautiful, thriving places.
